"The location couldn't be better. In the heart of Old Town, steps away from the market and many amazing restaurants and the beach. It's one floor above ground level, with a beautiful stairwell and a small elevator. The apartment itself was quite large, and nicely renovated for such a historic building. Very nicely decorated, and the soundproof windows worked great. There was a bit of noise from the Irish pub downstairs but the windows blocked about 90% of the music. The kitchen and bathrooms were modern and the shower water pressure was very nice. The instructions for getting the keys were very clear. A good combo washer/dryer. Laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent provided, as well as oil, salt, pepper, and vinegar in the kitchen. Overall we would likely stay here again if we returned to Nice. And thankfully the host had likely fixed some things since previous reviews, since we did not notice any smell coming from the dishwasher, and the coffee machine worked great."

"The cleanliness could have been better. When we arrived, there were still crumbs, debris on the floors and chairs, and dust and some stickiness everywhere. The kitchen equipment were not well suited to the place. For example, most of the pots and pans did not work on the induction stovetop, so there were only 2 or 3 that we could actually use. And also things like many of the plates are too large for the dishwasher. The microwave is also hard to access for anyone who isn't tall. There are also many little things that were inconvenient, such as there was no shelf for the shower, no nightstands in the second bedroom, no hooks or racks for towels in the bathrooms. The beds and linens were not the most comfortable, but overall it was fine. Some lights weren't working. There were no instructions left for the washer/dryer (though there were instructions for many other machines). We were there for a longer stay, but there were very little toilet paper and coffee pods left for us, and there were also no cleaning materials left for us to use ourselves either so we ended up purchasing things like bathroom cleaner to use during our stay since it was longer. As others have mentioned, the layout of the bathrooms is rather strange. There is one toilet near the entrance, but there is no sink there so you would have to go somewhere else to wash your hands. Then the master bedroom has a sink and tub but no toilet there. There was a list of chores to do at the end of our stay, airbnb style. It wasn't too unreasonable (dishes, trash, etc) but that along with having to return the keys elsewhere, it made getting out a bit slow."

"The location was superb. Collecting the key was not far. There is a parking entri 30m from the apartment, but google was missleading. The apartment is huge, clean, with everyting you need. So it was great."
